Why we do what we do

I wish I could say that I’d seen a documentary about the epidemic of suicides sweeping the country and just figured I’d lend a hand.  I’d much rather be a good Samaritan that was trying to help than what I actually am…a survivor.

Being a suicide survivor gives you a perspective that someone who has never lost someone to suicide can’t hope to truly understand.  This organization was formed to support those of us who have lost someone we cared about to suicide.  It is our goal that no one that has survived their loved ones’ suicide will follow their loved ones’ example.

We are striving to insure that we remain survivors instead of becoming victims.  We offer support for those who are struggling, and invite them to join us in our quest to prevent others from experiencing such a tragedy.
